Christopher R. Anderson
January 30, 1970 - October 25, 2025
Struggling with the news of the loss of former bandmate, brother, and guitar hero Chris Anderson. I was privileged enough to be able to play guitar alongside him in the Dirty Gunnz for ten years, and I believe he made me a better guitarist and human being. He was an amazingly talented performer with a great sense of humor and the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met. He genuinely cared about me and my family, and he truly would be the first person to “give you shirt off his back.” He was a lot of things to a lot of people and impacted many lives. My life's journey was definitely changed for the better when he came into the picture. I can speak for all of us from Dirty Gunnz when I say there was never a moment when weren't in awe of his skills and often looking at each other in amazement or laughing out loud on stage when he took off on a solo into uncharted territory. I am so thankful for all of my time with him, and cannot help but feel anger that he was taken from us too soon. These are not good enough words, nor are there words enough to describe Chris and his impact. I'm sorry I can't do better, but thank you, Chris, and be at peace.
Vince
